Surprise!

I am pleased to announce that we have a count down of two weeks until it is officially summer time! Between the flowers blooming, the sunny weather, the light staying out longer, the burnt bodies accompanied by tan lines (please see below for example) and the backyard barbecues, one can definitely tell that we are well on our way of springing into summer. I absolutely love this time of year! (Not as much as I love Christmas, but it's definitely up there.) As mentioned in my previous post, our BFF's Frank and Berrey (also known as Jake & Cheryl) have recently become engaged!! We all honestly couldn't be more happy for them, and thought, "What's a better way to show it than by throwing them a surprise engagement dinner?" (My girlfriend Crystal came up with the idea, so major props to her!) We all met at the groups favorite spot, Rosines in Anaheim Hills. Below are a couple of pictures from the fun night.

Frank and Berrey were definitely blown away and surprised!

Us girls all put our decorative hats on and got creative for the special occasion. I loved these napkins Crystal brought!

As the waiters and waitress's are aware of, our group tends to get louder and louder as the night progresses, and we rarely make an exit without one or two napkin dances thrown in the mix.

Another fun part of the night was the, "icing" that occurred. I was just recently informed of what this is. For more information, see Bros Icing Bros. I was amazed to see that the sicky-sweet-can't-have-more-than-one-(use-to-have-when-I-was-18) drink has made its way back around. And not targeting the women this time, but the men! It was hilarious to see all the guys huddled around, gossiping over who had come equipped for battle with their Smirnoff and who had not. Those who hadn't, of course, were the ones that got iced.

Great dinner, amazing friends and a fun night! Couldn't ask for more. And we all couldn't be more blessed to be apart of Frank & Berrey's wonderful celebration. The ear to ear smiles on their faces say it all. In my eyes, there is nothing cuter than a beaming groom to be and, of course, the soon to be bride! They are absolutely perfect for one another and I wish them much love and happiness today, tomorrow and in all the years to come!!! Congrats again Frank and Berrey!! I love you guys!!
