Memorial Memories

Yes, I am a little late in posting given that Memorial was 2 weekends ago...but what the heck, it was such a great weekend, it deserves its own post :) I have to say, this was one of the best 3 day weekends EVER! Friday night Noah and I went down to the Cannery in Newport for cocktails and dinner on the water :) We were served by our favorite waitress...(pretty sure she had the hots for me...no joke.) We had a delicious dinner and an AMAZING dessert!

Saturday we headed back down to Newport to check out this new acai bowl place, called Banzai Bowls. A refreshing mixture of an acai berry smoothie, topped with strawberries, granola, bananas, and honey. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended!

Saturday night, Noah and his roommate had all our friends over to watch the Laker's clinch the Western conference. A couple of mimosas mixed with friends and a victory= one fabulous night.

Sunday, my brother, dad, and I headed down to Newport for a beach day (And yes, this was my third day in a row down there.) They decided to cycle down on their bikes, and made it in 45 minutes! Way to go guys!!

A sunny and warm day at the beach, mixed with a little bit of paddle ball and ice cold beverages was my kind of relaxation!

Sunday evening we were informed that our best friends, Cheryl and Jake got engaged!!! I am beyond thrilled for them and can't wait for their new adventures in life!! I love you guys so so much!
The rest of the weekend was filled with BBQ's, and seeing Sex and the City 2. My girlfriend Crystal and I DID take our men, and they actually enjoyed it!!
